SLAVA ISUSU HRISTU! GLORY BE TO JESUS CHRIST!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

In the Holy Scriptures that we read these days, Jesus mentions more and more often about what is going to happen to him. We have heard in today’s Gospel (Mk. 10:32-45) that Roman will mock him, spit on him, flog him with a whip, and kill him. But in all of these Jesus mentions also his resurrection.
The apostles apparently overheard all these things and began to worry about their places in glorious kingdom. Especially James and John. Because of that, it was the best opportunity for the Lord to teach them at that time, and us today, about the servitude.
As the disciples of Jesus Christ we are invited not to be served but to serve others. It is very important part of Christian life, reinforced by the Lord’s words: “Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be the first among you must be the slave of everyone else.”

Have a blessed week!
