Glory be to Jesus Christ! May He be glorified forever!
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
Today is the great feast of Entrance of our Lord into Jerusalem. We know that the entrance was accompanied by great joy and celebration. St. John Evangelist presented to us beautifully how it happened in the Gospel story (Jn. 12:1-18). So we know how it happened and we like to hear the account. But do we know what that event means? It means the reality of out lives. We all know that one moment in the life, sometimes even in the day, we sing: “Hosanna” and right next moment we cry out: “Crucify Him”. When everything is going well we praise the Lord (Hosanna), and when the difficulties and trials come, do we still praise or curse (Crucify Him)? Let us realize, know and believe that Jesus is the same loving Saviour who is with us in joy and sadness. He wants to be with us in any situation of our lives. For that He came, He suffered, died and rose: to be with us and for us!
