Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
The great wish of our Lord is to give us a life, abundant life here on earth and of course eternal life with Him. In many place throughout the Gospels He expressed that and showed that. Today’s Gospel ( Lk. 8:41-56) is an example how our Lord did that. First He restored the health and well-being to a woman who suffered for many years with constant bleeding. Then Jesus restored life itself to Jairus’ daughter, whom everyone considered dead. In both instances Jesus wanted to tell us that we only need to ask Him in faith what we need and He will take care of the rest. He has time, He has patience, and He has the power to do that. But do we have? Time to ask, patience to wait, power to believe in Him? What is our answer?
