HRISTOS RAZDAJETSJA! CHRIST IS BORN!
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
Our Lord is born in Bethlehem long time ago, but also born in our hearts and our souls again few days ago! As we continue to rejoice in the Nativity of our Lord with singing our Christmas carols and reflecting what had happened these last few days, let us also think about what had happened in the year 2015. We have few more days left of the old year and it’s good opportunity to give thanks to the Lord for all that he gave us in it. For those who had all well – praise the Lord; For those who had some difficulties, challenges and hardships, ask the Lord to take them away in the New Year. Let us remember that even Holy Family had to go through many hard times right after Jesus was born.
Today’s Gospel ( Mt. 2:13-23) is reminding us exactly about that. Baby Jesus needed some protection from angry Herod. So do us on our daily basis. We need protection from our biggest enemy that is Evil who wants to take us away from the love of our God.
