Generations of Faith is a lovely opportunity to share a potluck with others in our community and learn about the topic of the month. This month we will be learning about “The Liturgical Year”.
Have you ever wondered how they figure out the date for Easter? Why we celebrate the finding of St. John the Baptist’s head for a third time? Who happens to be the saint of the day on your birthday? Or do you ever wonder how the Gospel passage is chosen on a particular Sunday?
If, YES, was your answer, then this is the right event for you!
If, NO, was your answer, then this is still the right event for you!
We will be sharing a potluck, so bring something enough for a meal for yourself, and then we will share what we brought with one another (please label it if it has a common allergen). Then after the potluck we will have an introduction of the topic by Fr. Bo and then age appropriate breakout sessions, where everyone can learn at their own level. Our age levels include, children (elementary), teens (Jr & Sr High), adults and seniors. Then we will gather again as a big group and conclude.
That’s it. The cost is simply something to share with others for supper. We hope to see you there.
