SLAVA ISUSU HRISTU! GLORY BE TO JESUS CHRIST!
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
Here it is! Great Fast begins tomorrow! The time of the year put aside for us to reflect upon the love of our Lord for us. Our journey in which we are called to get closer to the Source of our blessings and graces begins. How are we going to use this time? Today’s Gospel (Mt. 6:14-21) is giving us wonderful instructions and encouragements. For example: “Forgive: Fast in secret: Don’t store up treasures here on earth…”
It starts with forgiveness because this is the most important thing we are to do in order to follow anything else we decided for Great Fast. Let’s start the Great Fast with forgiving each other, forgiving ourselves if needed, and in that way grow in faith and in love for our Lord.
