19th Sunday After Pentecost

Slava Isusu Hristu! Glory be to Jesus Christ!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

We are called every day to express our love to God and to strengthen our decision to love each other. We do so especially on Sundays when we meet as children of God in the Church to reaffirm the love. We as Christians are the people of love and we are called to do everything through the love. In many places in the Bible God commands us to love everyone and everything. In today’s Gospel (Lk. 6:31-36) our Lord is telling us to do something almost impossible in the eyes of today’s world. He is commanding us to love those who might not love us, or even hate us or don’t want to have anything with us. We might call them enemies but Jesus calls them people for whom He also died on the cross, whom He loves dearly and whom He wants to be saved…
And again and again Jesus is telling us to do the same – Love them!

God’s blessing upon all!
